I am so excited to be sharing Sara and Rhonda’s beautiful backyard wedding at their family’s lovely home in Baltimore. I am so grateful and honoured that I got to document their love and celebrate with them along side their closest friends and family. Here are a few words from Sara and Rhonda:
How did you both first meet? Rhonda and I met at work (Ontario shores) July 10, 2012! I picked up over time on her unit! Turned around in my chair and there she was! I knew she would be in my life, but never knew it would bring us here! Married!
How did you get engaged? Who proposed? We always talked about getting married! We love the simple things in life! So one day during our normal, low key, relaxing morning coffee, I told her I couldn’t live without knowing I would always have her by my side and I popped the question! Go me! Complete surprise! I made her cry!
What is one of your favourite details from planning your wedding? One our favourite details during the planning of our wedding was picking our photographer and videographers. We were so excited to be working with our photographer Aleisha Boyd and our videographers Matt + Steph.
What was one of the most memorable parts of the day? The best part for me (Sara) was the entire day! Every day leading up to the wedding was stressful for me! So, when the day finally arrived, I felt calm and normal and relaxed which was such a blessing! The most memorable part would be the ceremony. We really loved the ceremony we created together as well as our vows that we wrote for each other.
Any wedding planning advice you’d like to share? Like most people say, keep it simple, enjoy the day, take it in, do special things to make your day sweet! Those things don’t have to be glamorous. Fill your day with the people who mean the most to you! Be real! Be true to you and make your wedding as honest and real and as close to the life you truly want to live.
